An astonishing array of fireworks filled the dark sky as the clock struck twelve last January 1st. Never in my verve have I been more appreciative of our veranda with its view of the city skyline. My family and I shared a simple but sweet Yellow Cab Noche Buena. It wasn’t much of a posh feast but it was nonetheless lovely to have welcomed the brand new year with the comfort of my nearest and dearest.
