Date with Destiny

I don’t understand how a woman can leave the house without fixing herself up a little- if only out of politeness. And then, you never know, maybe that’s the day she has a date with destiny. And it’s best to be as pretty as possible for destiny.” - Coco Chanel

Coco is utterly right. Dressing down can still make one stunning just as long as the right rudiments are chosen. Lazy, effortless but still chic on the whole- this was how I looked like as I acquired another candle on my cake last May 7th

What I wore: White collared button down top [Thrifted], Moschino Comme des Garcons Play inspired denim shorts and Jeremy Scott Mickey Mouse inspired sunglasses [Bangkok], Gold and Crystal Chronograph Watch [Michael Kors], Black and white brogue ballet flats [Local department store], Orange Hermes Evelyne bag [Signatures by Cristina]

Comfort is Key

Flat shoes are constructed essentially for convenience. Ever since I entered college, I have always opted for comfort as we constantly transfer from one building to another. I just can’t bear with shoes that don’t fit right or are burdensome to walk in so I’ve started stocking up on cutesy flats for school. Here are the latest additions to my collection. Don’t you just love the brogue detailing?
