La Bella Vita

Do you ever have those priceless moments when you take a pause and think to yourself that life is beautiful? I do. And it is during those instances that I realize how truly blessed I am. When I was younger, I used to believe in the aphorism that “Good things come to those who wait.” Presently, being a couple of years older and wiser, I have come to a realization that sure, good things may come to those who wait but better things come to those who are willing to get up and work hard for it. Luck may turn towards us sometimes but by and by, we should know how to pursue for those good things and exert effort to achieve them.

On to my ensemble, this sparkling outfit was what I wore to Nail It! Salon’s photo and video shoot at the quaint little Cubao X. I am such an aficionada of full-size, flouncy skirts and I despise the fact that I may be outgrowing them some time in the future. Nooo!

Such a picturesque place Cubao X is that my fellow Resident Bloggers; Bea, Melai and I couldn’t help taking photos even if it was “prohibidado” by the security guard. Who could resist touristy shots with this lovable Leaning Tower of Pisa anyway?

What I wore: Turquoise midrib top and White chiffon skirt, Gold skull ring and Gold pumps [Bangkok], Yellow rhinestone studded collar necklace [Hailey and Five], Gold five row spikes bangle and Turquoise YSL inspired Arty oval ring [Young Wild Free], Limited edition mint lace bracelet [GQ by PinkCloset], White and gold studded bracelet [Random], Yellow classic leather clutch [Vivienne Westwood], Cake iPhone case [Hong Kong], Pink heart ear plug [Berry Couture], Hair and Makeup by Dana Decena, Nails by Nail It! How was your Halloweekend? I’m jumpstarting my Halloween with Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights tomorrow and I couldn’t be more thrilled! I hope my scaredy-cat family doesn’t back out at the last minute. Haha!

Slyly Sexy

Comfy clothing with a little bit of skin was my primary peg with my slyly sexy lace top and harem pants getup. I thought that my ensemble was already complete as I donned my beautiful bejeweled necklace. However, as I was about to step out the door, it started drizzling. Hence, I came back to my room and grabbed a lovely leather jacket to get me through the weather just fine.

What I wore: Black tube top, Black lace top, White leather jacket, Multicolored gemstones bib necklace and Midnight blue stalactite ring [Bangkok], Black harem pants [Malaysia], Gold rhinestones bow ring [Hong Kong], Michael Kors Rose Gold watch [Gift], Black peep toe bow heels [Forever 21 Singapore], Pink classic leather clutch [Vivienne Westwood]

All Grown Up

My elder sisters have pointed out as to how I appear like a grown up girl in this set of photographs. Perhaps it is the unusual instance of me wearing jeans or perhaps it is the look of my tousled tresses that I have come to adore. Either way, donning full length bottoms was a breath of fresh air for me. Thus, this will positively be converted into a more frequent occurrence.

What I wore: Nude tube top, Floral printed cut out button down and Denim high waisted pants [Bangkok], Gold studded belt and Lilac feather earring [Random], Amethyst stone ring [Bkk Night Market], Gold Space Invaders ring [Chatuchak Weekend Market Bkk], Michael Kors Rose Gold watch [Gift], Nude peep toe pumps with pearl details [Mongkok Night Market HK], Yellow classic leather clutch [Vivienne Westwood]http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_le2gskgau51qev84m.png

‘Cause I May Be Bad

… But I’m perfectly good at it. Rihanna’s S&M played in my head as I posed for outfit photos inside our hotel room’s highboy. In this ensemble, I chose to change course from my extra effeminate pieces by dragging in a little bit of toughness through the use of lace ups, leather and metal chains.

What I wore: Green Vivienne Westwood button down shirt and Moschino Comme des Garcons Play inspired denim shorts [Bangkok], Twisted multi strand necklace [City Complex Bkk], Ray-Ban aviators [Borrowed from my sister], White leather belt and Silver LV buckle [Mom’s closet], Black lace up booties [Local department store], Vintage Chanel backpack [Milan Station HK]

Bouncy Ballerina

Sheer tops are very versatile pieces that you can pair with just about anything and everything. In addition to that, they give a subtly sexy semblance that I adore. For this look, I chose to don it with a ballerina skirt with playful prints, creating a lively ensemble. Bursts of sunshine yellow and ritzy royal blue complimented the whole look. ;)

What I wore: Black sheer top [Hong Kong], Black graphic printed ballerina skirt [Bangkok], Gold bib necklace [Forever 21], Blondie graphic bracelet [Chatuchak Weekend Market Bkk]Stud bangles, Studs chained connector ring and Royal blue platform heels [City Complex Bkk], Yellow classic leather clutch [Vivienne Westwood]
