The Month of Love

It’s that time of the year when Valentine’s Day is ahead of us once again. While it’s been a regular routine to ask somebody out on a date with fancy bouquets of flowers, oversized teddy bears and saccharine sweets, an equally essential part of this delightful day is how we present ourselves to our special someone. Agree or disagree?photo RoyaltySundance_zpscdb90d9c.jpg

Gone are the days when fashion only appealed to women. At the moment, more and more gentle men get keen on what they wear. If you are a guy and you are still clueless on what to wear for a special Valentine’s date, here’s a smart clothing suggestion for you. Keep things interesting with a nice printed button down, coordinated with classic black pieces that ought to be found in every man’s closet.

Women are rather fortunate that there are many fashionable pieces present in the market these days. For a special Valentine’s date, I recommend you ladies to go for one-shoulder dresses that are the ideal infusion of simple and sexy. Topped off with nice-looking curls and fierce smokey eyes, your special someone will feel lucky, that’s for sure!

Fairy Floss and Unicorns

Don’t you love how this ensemble simply exudes of sugar, spice and everything nice? I can picture myself strolling by the shoreline in this pretty pastel getup. On a (very) spontaneous note, this set of photos also reminds me of fairy floss and unicorns, hence the title.

What a beautiful baby from Boheme’s latest collection, thoughtfully given by chic and artistic Cap. <3

Fierce rings not over a hundred bucks? Visit Scrimp Manila and treat yourself with affordable accessories today!

Also, visit What’s InStore for Aztec awesomeness! Their typography cases are also on my wish list!

Wanna know the secret behind my long lashes? No, they’re not falsies. They’re eyelash extensions by Nail It! Salon Glorietta 3. Weeks have passed and truth be told, they are worth it. Lately, I only apply lipstick and I’m ready to go. It is such a benefit for a busy girl like me and the compliments that I get are just cherries on top!

And yes, I wear flip flops too! Who can refuse to give in to the cuteness of this Flipelas pair? I adore how Coke, the very friendly and fabulous owner, is able to make the traditional tsinelas go crazy- in a good way, of course!

What I wore: Striped tie button down top [Thrifted], Coral denim skirt [Zara], Flowers hippie headband and Turquoise studded cuff [Borrowed from my sister], Rainbow tinted round sunglasses and Turquoise bracelet [Bangkok], Aqua green dream catcher necklace [Boheme], Lavender bead bracelet [Street hawker], Peace bracelet [Anagon], Colored studs bangles [Local department store], Gold horn ring [Scrimp Manila], YSL inspired Arty oval ring [Fashion Trends Collections], Aztec iPhone case [What’s InStore] Leanna flip flops [Flipelas], White quilted leather chain bag [Chanel]

Double Denim

Good ol’ denims may transform to new styles every now and then but it seems like they will be fashionable forever. Whether I’m having a lazy day or not, my denim button down is always a trusty closet staple. However, pairing it with denim bottoms alike can be quite tricky.

To avoid looking like a fashion disaster when playing with double ds, mixing different dyes of denim should be the solution. In my case, I broke this ensemble’s dullness by donning vivid pops of neon!

What I wore: Denim button down [Thrifted], Tattered denim shorts, Ivory large frame sunglasses, Midnight blue stalactite ring and Neon pumps [Bangkok], Gold spike ear cuff [Young Wild Free], Learn bracelet [The Bead Shop], Neon tie-up bracelet [YORK], Pacman charm bracelet [Bought online], Eiffel Tower iPhone case [My Pets’ Shop]

Minty Fresh

First, I tried mint colored jeans. This day, I went for mint colored shorts. The calmness of sea foam green is a no fail formula to freshen things up. For me, it is the best color that soothes just like a shiatsu massage. Lovely, isn’t it?

What I wore: White tank top [Random], Mint green shorts, Beige foldable bag used as a clutch and Orange crisscross heels [Bangkok], White lace button down top [Sister’s closet], Bow Color Puff necklace [Bubbles], Yellow cross necklace [Young Wild Free], Carousel ring [Betsey Johnson]

Anchors Away!

From sailing stripes to ship anchors and wheels, sailor inspired icons are in all places these days. The nautical trend is currently making waves and so I settled to sail away with this seafaring stirred ensemble. Anchors Away!

Thank you, Gabby for my new Holga toy and Gurly Glam Shoppe for my cute connector rings!

What I wore: Anchor prints tank top, White round sunglasses and Gold stacked bangles [Random], Sailor high waisted skirt, Red button down polo, Union Jack chain bag and Red suede platform pumps [Bangkok], Silver ship wheel necklace [Gift], Red bangle with gold details [Girlshoppe], Anchors connector ring and Hearts connector ring [Gurly Glam Shoppe], Holga lens iPhone case [Gift, also available at Young Wild Free]
