La Bella Vita

Do you ever have those priceless moments when you take a pause and think to yourself that life is beautiful? I do. And it is during those instances that I realize how truly blessed I am. When I was younger, I used to believe in the aphorism that “Good things come to those who wait.” Presently, being a couple of years older and wiser, I have come to a realization that sure, good things may come to those who wait but better things come to those who are willing to get up and work hard for it. Luck may turn towards us sometimes but by and by, we should know how to pursue for those good things and exert effort to achieve them.

On to my ensemble, this sparkling outfit was what I wore to Nail It! Salon’s photo and video shoot at the quaint little Cubao X. I am such an aficionada of full-size, flouncy skirts and I despise the fact that I may be outgrowing them some time in the future. Nooo!

Such a picturesque place Cubao X is that my fellow Resident Bloggers; Bea, Melai and I couldn’t help taking photos even if it was “prohibidado” by the security guard. Who could resist touristy shots with this lovable Leaning Tower of Pisa anyway?

What I wore: Turquoise midrib top and White chiffon skirt, Gold skull ring and Gold pumps [Bangkok], Yellow rhinestone studded collar necklace [Hailey and Five], Gold five row spikes bangle and Turquoise YSL inspired Arty oval ring [Young Wild Free], Limited edition mint lace bracelet [GQ by PinkCloset], White and gold studded bracelet [Random], Yellow classic leather clutch [Vivienne Westwood], Cake iPhone case [Hong Kong], Pink heart ear plug [Berry Couture], Hair and Makeup by Dana Decena, Nails by Nail It! Salon | Photos by Melai Entuna and Jac Pequena

How was your Halloweekend? I’m jumpstarting my Halloween with Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights tomorrow and I couldn’t be more thrilled! I hope my scaredy-cat family doesn’t back out at the last minute. Haha!

Three Bs

“BBB Date”, as my sister Dana coined it, was a Wednesday well spent with her and Gabby. No third wheel sentiment involved, these two just get along so well and are the ideal example of crazy company. In a good way, of course. ;)

The first ‘B’ stands for buffet. The three of us ate our hearts out at Asiana in Palms Country Club. All I can say is- always leave room for dessert!

The second ‘B’ stands for bowling. One on one ang peg nila, never naman may naka-strike. Loljk, Gabby’s good! :))

The third ‘B’ stands for bazaar. We dropped by Superb at SMX and I treated myself to a pair of fierce heelless babies from Vishoes. On another note, being in that place once again brought back flashy fashion week memoirs

And because we did not feel like going home yet, we wandered around Greenbelt and I got so giddy seeing this sign. Yay for this delicious drink just around the corner!

Apart from the luscious feasts and fancy schmancy presents, it is honestly the presence of my nearest and dearest that mattered the most. Thank you, Lord for another year of countless blessings and to my family and friends who made this occasion extra special!

Real Steel + Style

An enjoyable evening of good food and great wine transpired last January 27th as EMO Jewelry primed an intimate get-together for Manila’s fashionphiles. The happening was held at Café 1771, an especially endearing and picturesque place at Ortigas. It had a great ambiance along with the cutest interior, down to its teeny tiny decorations.

Adorable comfort room door signs!

With my +1 girl friend for always, my little sister Dana <3

Elegantly striking EMO jewelry made of medical grade stainless steel, the kind that is found in surgical blades and in body bone implants, hence it being highly hypoallergenic. Shop at Emo.ph and enter the code CRS535 to get a 10% discount on your purchase! :)

It was good to see Angel, Ava and Keigh again plus it was a pleasure to meet new friends as always! A shout out to Arnie, Bec, Joyce, Paige, Rhea and Yna. :)

Merci beaucoup to the man behind EMO Jewelry, Mr. Sidney Ang for having me and my sister in this enjoyable event. <3http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_le2gskgau51qev84m.png

An evening of Italian cuisine at the stunning Eastwood City. Pasto’s pizza and pasta were unexpectedly humdrum but thankfully, their crispy mozzarella sticks were remarkably appetizing.
