Going Wild

I indulged my inner wild side for this lovely Wednesday afternoon as I took hold of my trusty leopard print bandage skirt whilst dressing up. Showing off some animal spirit, I paired it with my chic cutout top with similar graphic prints. Merci beaucoup to Jen of Sam’s Station for thoughtfully sending me this! :)

Substantially wearable, I believe that one can’t go off beam with the tasteful match of leopard print and monochrome colors. This getup is faultless for a hassle free day out and can still settle in effortlessly until nighttime with the right modifications.

I have always wanted an easy-to-match, everyday school bag and this has been beautifully hanging on my shoulder all week. Thank you, Kaye of Kaymar Alekzis Bags for thoughtfully sending me this! :)

Last but not the least, being healthy and hygienic now looks this cute, thanks to Banana Peel!

#PrayForThePhilippines

My country’s terrible state has been disheartening for the past days in a row. Still in shock from the harms and havocs of Ondoy, here goes another adversity happening to the Philippines. Difficult times like this make me realize how blessed I am to be alive and well in the comfort of my own home. I am truly thankful to no one else but Him up there.

To the fortunate ones who are safe, sound and sheltered right now, let us continue to pray together for our country and countrymen. Walang problemang hindi natin kayang harapin. Kapit lang, Pilipinas.

Despite the depressing news, one thing that made me blissful while watching the television today was the sense of The Filipino Spirit. Still managing to strike a smile in the face of this hardship is purely priceless.

What I wore: White oversized sweater [Sister’s closet], Argyle heart patterned tights and Gold sequin beanie [Hong Kong], Yellow rhinestone studded collar necklace [Hailey and Five], Gold heart spinner ring [Stolen from a friend], Baby Phat charm bracelet [Gift], Crisscross rhinestones magnetic cuff [Bangkok], Gold bead bracelet [Street hawker], Saville platform shoe boots [Topshop], Vintage Chanel backpack [Milan Station HK]

Double Denim

Good ol’ denims may transform to new styles every now and then but it seems like they will be fashionable forever. Whether I’m having a lazy day or not, my denim button down is always a trusty closet staple. However, pairing it with denim bottoms alike can be quite tricky.

To avoid looking like a fashion disaster when playing with double ds, mixing different dyes of denim should be the solution. In my case, I broke this ensemble’s dullness by donning vivid pops of neon!

What I wore: Denim button down [Thrifted], Tattered denim shorts, Ivory large frame sunglasses, Midnight blue stalactite ring and Neon pumps [Bangkok], Gold spike ear cuff [Young Wild Free], Learn bracelet [The Bead Shop], Neon tie-up bracelet [YORK], Pacman charm bracelet [Bought online], Eiffel Tower iPhone case [My Pets’ Shop]

She’s Picture Perfect

It’s wonderful how one can get inspiration from anything and everything under the sun. For this day, I found floral prints irresistible and I thought it was a match made in heaven with my stunning Sari top. As I put on my floppy hat, my ensemble seemed ideal for a getaway to a fanciful holiday spot such as The Hamptons. Yes please! A girl can dream, right?

Essie’s She’s Picture Perfect nail polish was a pretty periwinkle shade that didn’t chip for more than a week. Thank you, Nail It! Salon. Affordable Luxury indeed!

What I wore: White one-sided top [Sari], Floral skirt and Pink floppy hat [Bangkok], H belt [Mom’s closet], Gold Juicy Couture charm bracelet [Sister’s closet], Pink braided cuff [Hailey and Five], White chain bag with gold studs [Malaysia], White lace Jessica Simpson Dany inspired platforms [Nava]
