By the day’s half end, I sold all these clothes at only P50 each. It was crazy!

imageimageimage

Yet again,  one thank you isn’t enough for each and every one of you, my lovely readers who dropped by, who made it a point to buy from my booth, talk to me and take photos with me. Your simple statements such as “I love your blog!” and “I actually went here just to see you!” definitely made me smile. :) It was such an overwhelming feeling getting to know all of you!

image

And because you talked, we listened. You voted for a part two at the South and we’re giving it to you! This May 11th, 2013, Saturday, your favorite Tumblr bloggers, together with their loved treasures will be at The Pergola Mall BF Homes, Parañaque City. Apart from that, various online shops will be there too, catering to your every need for fashion, food and rapture!

Better Together

image

Last month of love aka February, Nail It! Salon introduced a valentine’s month offer that was too good to resist. Named after Jack Johnson’s sweet song, this similarly sweet spa package for two was just the thing that Gabby and I needed after a hectic school week. For less than a thousand bucks, the relaxation and the bond that we both shared was undeniably worth even more.

imageimageimageimage

I had no idea that this guy had ticklish feet until the foot spa’s scrubbing part. Hahaha!

imageimage

I am keen on how Nail It! Salon’s foot spa is more special as compared to the others that I have tried before. This chilly peppermint rub is my favorite part next to watching the soap suds pop one by one!

image

This visit’s polish picks were all from Orly. I had alternating Cotton Candy and Dazzle on my fingernails and what I constantly have for my toenails is Gumdrop.

The Better Together spa package was completely gratifying and well worth it that I actually wished it was offered all year round. But not to fret; Nail It! Salon does it again this month of May for Mother’s Month.

image

“For the whole month of MAY, we are celebrating motherhood through our packages for 2. MOM + YOU = Php960 only. :)”

image

What are you waiting for? Show your mom just how much you love her by scheduling a mother-daughter day only at Nail It! Salon. I know I will! :)

A Week in Blogsphere

image

My sister Dana and I were the finale speakers for Assumption College San Lorenzo’s A Week in Blogsphere. As this hip happening was also graced by other notable bloggers; namely Gerd Perez, Dani Barretto, Gelo Arucan and Bjorn Bedayo, my sister and I only wished for our talk to be at par with theirs. Armed with our procrastinated PowerPoint Presentation, our girly getups and self-confidence, we looked forward to a fun Friday with the Assumptionistas…

imageimageimageimageimageimage

And we weren’t disappointed! These girls were unquestionably the most welcoming group we’ve met and they completely defied the “We make tusok-tusok the fishball.” stereotype connoted with their school. Each one was game to play a part and even volunteer up front to dance the Gangnam Style! Haha!

imageimageimage

That day was definitely full of new learning and happy to say, the learning was both ways! Dana and I learned the “Yaya pose” from the girls. How are we for first timers? :p

imageimage

I also enjoyed posing for photos during the photo op segment after our talk. Feeling artista lang ako. Chos!

imageimageimage

Meet my blockmates from 3B1! They are currently working on their theses and will be graduating soon! Best of luck to you, mga mars! Ati Bea, zors if you were cut in this photo. :/ O, keribels na ba ang 3B1 vocab ko? Jirits! :))

image

Hello, Bb! <3 Thank you for being supportive to me always, all ways. I may not tell you all the time but I am indeed one grateful girl to have you around. :)

imageimageimage

A big thank you to STUDIO and the girls for having me & Dana! We had a blast at our first ever talk & we hope you did too! :) Photo taken via Instagram (@cristinadecena)

From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank Assumption College and Studio for this amazing opportunity. We sure hope that this would be the start of many more talks in the future!

Dress Up Doll

image

If there is one pop icon that I would never outgrow, it would most probably be Barbie. Not only has the dazzling doll taken over the toy stores, but she has also developed into a fashion muse for girls of all ages. Her signature style that is fun and feminine was the peg used to create this girly get up of mine. Now, I can’t wait to wear more looks inspired by Barbie herself!

New Possibilities + SuperSale Giveaway

Being open to new possibilities is nothing but a great thing. A person’s profession and eventually one’s whole existence come about by trying out new things and unexpectedly realizing an ideal fondness for something they never thought would delight their spirits. It’s true what they say; you’ll never know if you never try.

For this particular ensemble, I stepped out of my comfort zone and left my typical neckwear behind. Detachable collars have been around for quite some time now but I only got to wear one recently, special thanks to Jac of flatterbuy. One lovely discovery from this deed? A newfound love for these brilliant babies! It’s wonderful how they effortlessly perk up any top in your closet, minus the heat and hassle of additional layers.

What I wore: DIY YSL graphic printed crop top and Gold pumps [Bangkok], Zebra print trousers with bow detail [Signatures by Cristina A.Venue], Gold spikes stud earrings, Gold five row spikes bangle and Black and White mini mustache rings [Young Wild Free], Great Gatsby collar [flatterbuy], Gold Louis Vuitton Miroir Alma [Mom’s hand me down] | Photos by Joy Maslog
