New Possibilities + SuperSale Giveaway

Being open to new possibilities is nothing but a great thing. A person’s profession and eventually one’s whole existence come about by trying out new things and unexpectedly realizing an ideal fondness for something they never thought would delight their spirits. It’s true what they say; you’ll never know if you never try.

For this particular ensemble, I stepped out of my comfort zone and left my typical neckwear behind. Detachable collars have been around for quite some time now but I only got to wear one recently, special thanks to Jac of flatterbuy. One lovely discovery from this deed? A newfound love for these brilliant babies! It’s wonderful how they effortlessly perk up any top in your closet, minus the heat and hassle of additional layers.

La Bella Vita

Do you ever have those priceless moments when you take a pause and think to yourself that life is beautiful? I do. And it is during those instances that I realize how truly blessed I am. When I was younger, I used to believe in the aphorism that “Good things come to those who wait.” Presently, being a couple of years older and wiser, I have come to a realization that sure, good things may come to those who wait but better things come to those who are willing to get up and work hard for it. Luck may turn towards us sometimes but by and by, we should know how to pursue for those good things and exert effort to achieve them.

On to my ensemble, this sparkling outfit was what I wore to Nail It! Salon’s photo and video shoot at the quaint little Cubao X. I am such an aficionada of full-size, flouncy skirts and I despise the fact that I may be outgrowing them some time in the future. Nooo!

Such a picturesque place Cubao X is that my fellow Resident Bloggers; Bea, Melai and I couldn’t help taking photos even if it was “prohibidado” by the security guard. Who could resist touristy shots with this lovable Leaning Tower of Pisa anyway?

What I wore: Turquoise midrib top and White chiffon skirt, Gold skull ring and Gold pumps [Bangkok], Yellow rhinestone studded collar necklace [Hailey and Five], Gold five row spikes bangle and Turquoise YSL inspired Arty oval ring [Young Wild Free], Limited edition mint lace bracelet [GQ by PinkCloset], White and gold studded bracelet [Random], Yellow classic leather clutch [Vivienne Westwood], Cake iPhone case [Hong Kong], Pink heart ear plug [Berry Couture], Hair and Makeup by Dana Decena, Nails by Nail It! How was your Halloweekend? I’m jumpstarting my Halloween with Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights tomorrow and I couldn’t be more thrilled! I hope my scaredy-cat family doesn’t back out at the last minute. Haha!

Layering On The Neon

Starting off with a showy dress, I layered on this season’s ‘it’ color by donning my bright and bold babies, thoughtfully sent by PA and YORK. Thank you! :)

To avoid looking like a blinking neon notice, I kept the rest of my ensemble plain and simple by sticking to a color palette of black, white and gold.

Orly’s Royal Navy nail lacquer and My Pets’ Shop’s skull earplug are love!

What I wore: Neon pink and white stripes dress [Random], White leather jacket, Amethyst stone ring and Gold pumps [Bangkok], Neon yellow Triangle necklace [Personalized Accessories], Neon drops necklace [YORK], Orange skull earplug [My Pets’ Shop], YWF studded canvas bag [DIY]

Extra Leg Room

Bid adieu to your skinny jeans and say hello to the trendiest trouser in town. Palazzo pants are a fresh and fashionable alteration to the maxi skirt’s stress-free style. And in this case, the bigger the better! I paired mine with a crisp white shirt along with a polished belt to accentuate my waist. In addition, I went for a graceful and grown up look by putting my hair up in an effortless bun.

I got this Topshop canvas bag from the League of Fashion orientation. Cute, isn’t it? Say T for Tina! ;)

What I wore: White collared button down top [Thrifted], Khaki palazzo pants and H belt [Mom’s closet], Prada Minimal Baroque inspired sunglasses and Gold pumps [Bangkok], Rhinestone studded dangling earrings [Borrowed from my sister], Gold stacked bangles [Random], Lightning bolt ring [Chatuchak Weekend Market Bkk], White chain bag with gold studs [Malaysia]

Lax and Loose

When harem pants made a comeback, I never pictured myself wearing one. I thought that the trend was generally unflattering. But giving it a try last March 24th, I loved how extremely comfortable I was while still looking exceptionally chic. I donned it with a fitted top to balance out its bagginess and as harem pants have the tendency to cut down one’s height, I donned it with pumps to lengthen my legs.

What I wore: Black tube top, Feather earring and Gold pumps [Bangkok], Floral harem pants [Hong Kong], Black round sunglasses [Random], YSL inspired Arty oval ring [Fashion Trends Collections], Black butterfly ring and Gold Egyptian head ring [Chatuchak Weekend Market Bkk], Black Chanel Patent GST [Chanel]
