Young Wild Free

Don’t you just love graphic print shirts and the countless possibilities to style them? I know I do. We all have those days when we feel like lazy daisies. In my case, I basically grab a fun printed shirt and work my outfit from there. This particular day, I was inspired by all pieces native and so I donned peacock accessories as finishing touches to my ensemble.

Frisky in Faux Fur

image

Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall- don’t you wish that the Philippines had four seasons instead of just two? I do. It’s simply more exciting to dress up in line with the weather. Lots of layers in the winter, stripped down to daisy dukes during the summer… but what to wear in between these opposing seasons, you may ask?

It was mid-fall when we arrived in California. Not too chilly and not too humid, the gentle wind was perfect with the welcoming winter atmosphere. But just because it wasn’t winter yet, it didn’t mean that I couldn’t dress myself in faux fur, right? I thought to myself, snatching this tasteful piece of clothing from my mother’s luggage.

There is purely something sophisticated about this fine fabric; something that reminds me of a well-dressed, 1970s mademoiselle. Feeling this refined sentiment, I pulled my hair back into a high ponytail, put on pretty pearl earrings and the chic pair of color blocking heels that I have acquired just the day before. Glancing at my reflection before heading out, I realized; I don’t play favorites but this ensemble has got to be on the list!

Fun fact: Orly’s Nail Lacquer in Frisky is my all-time preferred polish for my toenails. It’s a brilliant shade of teal that I can’t refuse to give in to whenever I go for Package One at my happy place, Nail It! Salon.

New Possibilities + SuperSale Giveaway

Being open to new possibilities is nothing but a great thing. A person’s profession and eventually one’s whole existence come about by trying out new things and unexpectedly realizing an ideal fondness for something they never thought would delight their spirits. It’s true what they say; you’ll never know if you never try.

For this particular ensemble, I stepped out of my comfort zone and left my typical neckwear behind. Detachable collars have been around for quite some time now but I only got to wear one recently, special thanks to Jac of flatterbuy. One lovely discovery from this deed? A newfound love for these brilliant babies! It’s wonderful how they effortlessly perk up any top in your closet, minus the heat and hassle of additional layers.

What I wore: DIY YSL graphic printed crop top and Gold pumps [Bangkok], Zebra print trousers with bow detail [Signatures by Cristina A.Venue], Gold spikes stud earrings, Gold five row spikes bangle and Black and White mini mustache rings [Young Wild Free], Great Gatsby collar [flatterbuy], Gold Louis Vuitton Miroir Alma [Mom’s hand me down] | Photos by Joy Maslog

Going Wild

I indulged my inner wild side for this lovely Wednesday afternoon as I took hold of my trusty leopard print bandage skirt whilst dressing up. Showing off some animal spirit, I paired it with my chic cutout top with similar graphic prints. Merci beaucoup to Jen of Sam’s Station for thoughtfully sending me this! :)

Substantially wearable, I believe that one can’t go off beam with the tasteful match of leopard print and monochrome colors. This getup is faultless for a hassle free day out and can still settle in effortlessly until nighttime with the right modifications.

Win this awesome Aztec cuff above plus the spikes connector ring below, along with other goodies just by joining my Big Blog Blowout with Khai!

I have always wanted an easy-to-match, everyday school bag and this has been beautifully hanging on my shoulder all week. Thank you, Kaye of Kaymar Alekzis Bags for thoughtfully sending me this! :)

Last but not the least, being healthy and hygienic now looks this cute, thanks to Banana Peel!

What I wore: White graphic printed cut out shirt [Sam’s Station], Leopard bandage skirt [Bangkok], Brown round sunglasses [Young Wild Free], Gold steel necklace [Scrimp Manila], He Loves Me flower earrings and Charms Will Get You Far bracelet [Haughty Vanilla], Oversized watch [TW Steel], Gold cheetah connector ring [Cotton Candy Accessories], Gold spikes connector ring and Black Aztec cuff [Chic Habit], Beige Gracelle Everyday Satchel [Kaymar Alekzis Bags], Black suede wedges with ankle straps [Chick Flick] | Photos by Michael Nuqui

It’s another Monday tomorrow, have a great week ahead of you! :)

I Heart You

One can never go off beam with the choice of classic red nails. But ever since I became a resident blogger for Nail It! Salon, I’ve always had anything but plain painted on my digits.

Because love is in the air (I’m so cheesy, I know!), I decided to give the usual red nails a twist by having this adorable heart nail art! Thank you, Nail It! Salon Glorietta 3!

On to my ensemble, this shress (shirt dress) is so perfect for the slothful fashionista in me. Throwing on a leopard printed scarf around my neck and a similarly printed satchel complemented my whole getup flawlessly, making the plain shress not so lazy looking after all.

What I wore: Tiger graphic printed shress, Feather earring, Leopard printed scarf and Gold ring [Bangkok], Red heart shaped sunglasses [Topshop], Black diamond stud earring [Scrimp Manila], Black cross necklace [Young Wild Free], Gray and silver bracelets [Hailey and Five], Modern rock chic leather wrap [GQ Pink Closet], Leopard print satchel [Shoppe Unli], Bertha Booties [Gold Dot], Nails by Nail It! Salon

How about you? What’s your favorite lazy day piece?
