Hail! Hail! Hail!

Win or lose, it’s the school we choose. Here goes a getup inspired by none other than my alma mater. Examining this ensemble, the base was a simple shirt and shorts combination. Nevertheless, just by adding fun frillings of fringe, layered necklaces and lace up booties, the look suddenly wasn’t so lackluster in sight!

What I wore: White DLSU shirt [Dynasty. Destiny. Legacy.], Black silk shorts [Bangkok], Black lenseless frames [Random], Black Inverted Triangle necklaces [Personalized Accessories], Wooden bangle with silver studs [Claire’s USA], White Kidada wrap bracelet [Bought online], Blogger bracelet [The Bead Shop], Black octopus ring and Black fringe sling bag with studs [Hong Kong], Black lace up booties [Local department store]

Rucksack Attack

One staple in a college girl’s closet would be a bandage skirt. It’s wonderful how this piece could be worn casual, corporate… the list goes on! Having classes from 8 am to 5:30 pm this day, my peg was clearly casual and comfortable. I opted for nothing but the coziest clothes that I could get my hands on. Apparently, relaxing threads do not connote a dull ensemble. Just play with cool colors and quirky add-ons like I did!

Wanna know another college girl closet staple of mine? My canvas rucksack. Two straps are definitely better than one. It helps to balance the load of your bag on to your back and shoulders to avoid bad body pain.

What I wore: Television graphic print crop top and Yellow Ice watch [Sister’s closet], Red bandage skirt [Bangkok], Hello Kitty lenseless frames [Top Avenue], Pacman with Ghost necklace and Red Inverted Triangle necklace [Personalized Accessories], Blogger bracelet [The Bead Shop], Minnie Mouse ring [Clipper], Strawberry ring [DIY], Yellow Kung Fu shoes [Bangkok], Canvas rucksack [Young Wild Free]

Mix and Match Game

This dress was an attention-grabber in itself, exuding of fun geometric patterns. Playing the game of mix and match, I stuck to a color palette of coral and cream add ons so as not to steal the spotlight from this dazzling dress. And just when I was heading out the door, I grabbed my Hello Kitty frames thoughtfully sent by The Style Machine. Tamang pa-cute lang! ;)

What I wore: Geometric patterns dress, White chain belt with tassels, Coral satchel, Amethyst stone ring and Mickey Mouse ring [Bangkok], Cream lace cover up [Thrifted], Hello Kitty lenseless frames [The Style Machine], Pink pearls dangling earrings [Pretty Little Thing], Nude platform pumps [Hong Kong]

P.S. Do you like my pretty little earrings from Pretty Little Thing? I am giving it away along with two more pairs here!

Tickled Pink

Feeling especially girly on a casual Tuesday morning, I whipped up my outfit using complementary shades of pink.

Leopard printed nails by my make up guru sister, Dana

Call Me Kitty Cat

I’ve always wanted to get my hands on Hello Kitty specs since I saw this on my Tumblr Dashboard. Imagine my thrill when I finally found one while roving around Bangkok! Yay for another item ticked off from my to-buy list!

On to my ensemble, I wore this on a random Tuesday in school. You’ve probably seen me wear these tassels, as well as the skirt regularly but I couldn’t help it as they’re very effortless to mix and match with.

What I wore: Red button down polo, Leopard bandage skirt, Chains and tassels necklace, Hello Kitty lenseless frames, Snake printed ring, Mickey Mouse ring and Brown foldable bag [Bangkok], White lace Jessica Simpson Dany inspired platforms [Nava]http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_le2gskgau51qev84m.png
