Loving Him Was Red

Similar to seasons, fashion trends come and go. I am not one to patronize each and every style that emerges for the reason that a good number of fashion trends have the tendency to burn one’s pockets. But back when I was a sophomore in high school circa 2007, one particular bandwagon that I hopped into was the colored pants bandwagon. I collected every color there was possible and I can still recall how I would match my multicolored pairs with different graphic tees.

Fast forward to the present day, I am pleased that these rainbow brights have made a comeback (and that I didn’t throw my pairs away!). For a Christmas party (yes, these photos were gone astray until recently), I decided to spread some Christmas cheer with this red and white ensemble.

I kept these adorable Santa Claus nails all month and got countless compliments from everyone. Thank you, Nail It! Salon Alphaland!

Fairy Floss and Unicorns

Don’t you love how this ensemble simply exudes of sugar, spice and everything nice? I can picture myself strolling by the shoreline in this pretty pastel getup. On a (very) spontaneous note, this set of photos also reminds me of fairy floss and unicorns, hence the title.

What a beautiful baby from Boheme’s latest collection, thoughtfully given by chic and artistic Cap. <3

Wanna know the secret behind my long lashes? No, they’re not falsies. They’re eyelash extensions by Nail It! Salon Glorietta 3. Weeks have passed and truth be told, they are worth it. Lately, I only apply lipstick and I’m ready to go. It is such a benefit for a busy girl like me and the compliments that I get are just cherries on top!

And yes, I wear flip flops too! Who can refuse to give in to the cuteness of this Flipelas pair? I adore how Coke, the very friendly and fabulous owner, is able to make the traditional tsinelas go crazy- in a good way, of course!

Anchors Away!

From sailing stripes to ship anchors and wheels, sailor inspired icons are in all places these days. The nautical trend is currently making waves and so I settled to sail away with this seafaring stirred ensemble. Anchors Away!

Black and White

… and chic on the whole. Who says a black and white outfit equals boring? For one scorching summer day, I delved into good old fashioned black and white. It is a classic combination that one can never go wrong with. Another good thing about it is that by simply adding an interesting piece to your ensemble such as my zebra printed scarf, you’re all set to stylishly step out of the door.

What I wore: White graphic printed tank top, Black maxi skirt, Zebra printed scarf, Mustard yellow studded sandals and Alexander Wang inspired bag [Bangkok], Metallic hippie headband [Claire’s USA], Black round sunglasses and Stacked bangles [Random], Black bangle with gold details [Girlshoppe], Black stone ring [Forever 21 Singapore]

Hippie Vamp

Be prepared for a set of snapshots wherein I could pass as a legit vampire. A hippie vamp, that is. By now, you may have already noticed that the bohemian trend is something that I get stuck on customarily. Since it is all about looking like you just threw on threads in the blink of an eye, I definitely enjoy the free spirited vibe that comes with each ensemble along with the exceptional comfort it gives.

What I wore: Wolf graphic printed shirt, Multicolored braided belt, Rainbow tinted round sunglasses, Peacock necklace and Multicolored native bracelet [Bangkok], Royal blue maxi skirt [Local department store], Wooden bangle with silver studs [Claire’s USA], Stacked bangles [Random], Gold deer ring and Brown fringe bag [Hong Kong], Brown clogs [Local department store]
